Developing what remains and is to come 2011

Research week Harberton, Devon, 12- 16 December 2011
During the week of 12 December we were working in dialogue with writer Mark Leahy www.markleahy.net

Our focus was the materiality of breath, the ‘emotional’ body and how language might interface with or emerge through these explorations. We invited a few people to a sharing of work and discussion on Friday 16th December

what remains and is to come: on absence
21-22 September 2011 University of Northampton

This performance installation follows the residency period for what remains and is to come at Nightingale, Brighton in August 2011. In bringing to another space – and to the context of an arts conference – the materials, a lone live action and the digital ephemera from the Brighton event, and re-positioning them in the absence of the event itself, the installation questions the specificity of the art object and the ‘powers’ of the processes that are embedded in ‘what remains.’
